Bonafede Becomes Hawks' All Time RBI Leader Today

AURORA, N.Y. – The Hilbert College baseball team split their non-league double header at Wells College, falling 7-2 before they took an 8-2 win this afternoon.

The Hawks (5-6) were eager to get back on the diamond today after a 13-day layoff following spring break.

Ryan Bonafede continued to find success at the plate and Henry Bowers remained undefeated on the mound.

GAME 1:

Hilbert led 1-0 after the first inning and then trailed 2-1 once the Expressed knocked in a 2-run homer in the bottom of the second.   The Hawks knotted the game in the fourth but gave up five runs in the 5th and 6th innings to fall 7-2.

Ryan Bonafede put the Hawks on the board in the 1st inning with an RBI single.
