CLERMONT, Fl. – The Penn State Behrend softball team fell to Millikin and Carnegie Mellon on Wednesday in the Spring Games.

Game 1
* The Lions fell to Millikin in five innings on Wednesday, 13-3
* Behrend fell behind 5-0 by the end of the second inning
* The Lions made a comeback in the third, scoring three runs
* Amy Nolte (Imperial, PA/West Allegheny) and Alayna Derzak (Seven Fields, PA/Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic) each tallied RBI's in the third
* The Big Blue answered, scoring eight straight to finish the game
* Marissa Torretti (DuBois, PA/DuBois) led the team with three hits and one run

Game 2
* In game two of the day, Carnegie Mellon took down the Lions 6-4
* Behrend came out strong, taking a 2-0 lead to start the game
* The Tartans turned around to tie the game 2-2 by the end of the first
* When Carnegie Mellon took a 3-2 lead in the fourth, the Lions bounced back to take a 4-3 advantage
* The Tartans outscored Behrend 2-0 to secure the win
* Derzak led the team with two hits and an RBI
* Mackenzie McIntire (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview), Lauren Olevnik (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights), and Samantha Manioci (Rochester, NY/Odyssey Academy) each tallied an RBI
