Cobb Makes 21 Saves

Matt Cobb (Churchville Chili) made 21 saves as Alfred State battled King's College. The Monarchs outshot the Pioneers 59-10 in the 20-0 victory.

King's led 2-0 after the 1st and 6-0 at the half as Cobb made 15 saves. The Monarchs put the game out of reach in the 3rd quarter.

Cobb finished the contest with 21 saves, the most he has recorded since March 31, 2018 when he had 21 saves vs. Hilbert. He now has four career games with over 20 saves.

The Pioneers have over a week off before they open up the home portion of their season on Tuesday, March 17th vs. Houghton. Opening faceoff is at 4 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium.
