The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford has named Matthew T. Lovell as its new sports information director.

Lovell was most recently serving as the acting SID for Mount Aloysius College, which is in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference with Pitt-Bradford.

In addition to his duties as acting SID at Mount Aloysius, Lovell has served as director of residence life at the college since 2015, and served as assistant director of residence life for the three years prior to that.

Before working at Mount Aloysius, Lovell was the resident director and assistant director of residence life at Juniata College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history.

Lovell is currently nearing completion on earning a Master of Science in sport administration from Arkansas State University. Lovell began his duties Monday. He takes the place of Ryan McDonough, who left in July.
