Hilbert College and Athletic Director Megan Valentine are pleased to introduce Scott Caracci as the new Athletics Facilities and Event Coordinator. 

Caracci is ready for the challenges that the full-time position presents and has shown his dedication and willingness to learn in his first week on the job.

Caracci comes to Hilbert after serving as a graduate assistant at The College at Brockport the last two years, but he has been directing Division III athletic events dating back to his undergraduate years at The State University of Cortland. 

His experience hiring, training and scheduling staffing for the Golden Eagles home athletic events will allow him to hit the ground running in Hamburg.  He was the primary on-site administrator for all home athletic events assisting visiting teams, game officials, and fans.  His background running in-game promotions will allow the athletic department to expand the Game Day experience for Hilbert athletes and help increase the excitement and attendance at all athletic events.

Caracci served as the Meet Director for the 2019 SUNYAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Brockport, N.Y.  He coordinated and helped run a successful two-day Track and Field Championship meet, serving on the competition committee for oversight and operations while scheduling and training over 75 student workers.

The Rochester, N.Y. native progressed from an Event Staff worker to an Event Manager to securing an internship at SUNY Cortland as an undergraduate student.  He earned a sport management degree and added a facility and event management concentration in 2018.  Caracci recently earned his master's in athletic administration from Brockport before moving to WNY.
