MEDAILLE BASEBALL TEAM RAISES $7,792 TO HELP FIGHT CANCER

The Medaille College baseball team registered a few weeks ago for Roswell Park's Goin' Bald For Bucks Campaign with hopes of raising $1,000 to help strike out cancer.

Goin' Bald for Bucks is a fundraising program where participants shave their heads, donate their hair, style their locks, or grow out their beards to support cancer research and patient-care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The Mavericks held their event today at the conclusion of their two-week campaign and raised an astounding $7,792.  This number was the largest single donation by a college sports team since the inception of the Bald for Bucks campaign.

The team would like to thank everyone who donated and participated in their fight against cancer.
