Pitt-Bradford head women's basketball coach Sharay Hall participated in the 2018 Chicago Polar Plunge on Sunday, helping to raise money for Chicago Special Olympics.
"I am extremely happy to be a part of the Special Olympics polar plunge event," Hall said. "It was amazing to see the support and participation. Although it was freezing cold in Lake Michigan, I had a blast being around a diverse group of people who support the cause."
Over 5,000 people came together to raise money at the 18th-annual event and then proceeded to "plunge" into the ice-cold Lake Michigan together.
At the event alone, $1.6 million was raised for Chicago Special Olympics.
