MEDAILLE BASKETBALL TEAMS HOST AUTISM AWARENESS NIGHT

Last week, the Medaille College men's and women's basketball teams took part in a very special night, hosting Autism Awareness Night at the Sullivan Center for their double-header with AMCC foe Penn State-Behrend.

The night wasn't just a success on the court, as both Mavs teams came away victorious, but off the court as well.

With donations and 50/50 raffles during both games, the Mavericks were able to collect and donate $200 to the Organization for Autism Awareness who graciously donated 200 wristbands for the occasion.

According to a CDC study, 1 in 68 children will be diagnosed with a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder. For more information, or to find out how you can get involved, please visit ResearchAutism.org.
