BEHREND HOLDS ONTO PRESIDENTS CUP FOR ANOTHER YEAR

After strong seasons in both baseball and softball this spring, Penn State Behrend hangs on to their lead for another Presidents Cup title. For the spring season, the Lions claimed a regular season title in softball before finishing in third overall in the conference tournament. The Behrend baseball team finished second in the regular season before also finishing third in the tournament. Overall, the Lions won conference titles in men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving, and men's basketball. Behrend's .772 percentage of points won allowed them to remain in first place to win their 18th Presidents Cup out of 19 years that the award has existed.

Finishing in second place with a .703 winning percentage is Mount Aloysius College. The Mounties won the AMCC softball tournament championship, while also putting together solid seasons in men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball and tennis, and men's basketball and baseball.

Rounding out the top three is Franciscan University with a .659 winning percentage. The Barons added a conference title in men's tennis this spring after earning titles in men's and women's cross country and women's tennis in the fall. Franciscan also put together successful seasons in men's soccer, women's swimming and diving, and softball this year.
