PENN STATE BEHREND RUNS AWAY WITH 2015 PRESIDENTS CUP

For the eleventh consecutive year, and for 14 of the 15 years the award has existed, Penn State Behrend has once again been crowned the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Presidents Cup Champion.

In 2014-15, Behrend accumulated an .835 winning percentage by claiming championships in men's and women's soccer, men's cross country, men's golf, men's and women's swimming and diving, and softball.

Franciscan University is the new runner-up this year after finishing with a .690 winning percentage. The Barons were crowned champions in women's volleyball, women's cross country, and men's and women's tennis.

2014-15 marked a new process for calculating the standings.  Instead of a providing a summary of points earned according to regular season finish, the new formula is a percentage of points earned divided by total possible points.  It factors in both regular season and post-season finish to provide a weighted measure of success.
