RUNNER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend SO Savanna Carr had an outstanding start to her 2018 season, winning the Westminster College Fisher Invitational with an overall time of 23:40.66. Carr placed first out of 104 runners on Friday and she finished a full 15 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Penn State Behrend placed third as a team at the invite.

BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan SR Grace Galligan finished third at the Westminster College Fisher Invite, with a time of 24:03.1 in the 6K she was the second-fastest AMCC runner...Hilbert SR Megan Lee battled through a tough race in the heat, finishing in 11th place out of 46 runners with a 5K time of 23:23 at the Buffalo State Daniel Walker Invitational...D'Youville JR Samantha Ruszczyk had a great opening weekend for the Spartans, placing second overall at the Daniel Walker Invitational, as she led the team to a fourth overall place finish.
