DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona L Anna Batrus kept racking up digs in a 1-1 week of non-conference play for the Lions, finishing with 26 in Tuesday night's loss at Lycoming and posting 18 in Friday night's home win over Penn College. Batrus recorded a total of 44 digs last week, averaging 6.29 digs per set.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State OH Alayna Tomlinson tallied 18 digs, 15 kills, four aces, and two blocks as the Pioneers went 2-0 on the week, as she notched nine kills and eight digs with two blocks in the first game against Fredonia, then followed that with a 10 dig and six kill game against Houghton...Pitt-Bradford DS Kayla Maslowski totaled 5.31 digs per set as the Panthers went 1-2 this week, recording 69 total digs in 13 sets played, as 30 of them came in the five-set victory over Penn College, while also adding seven assists and two aces...Carlow OPP/MB Megan Cooper led the defensive effort at the net with six blocks on the week...Hilbert L Natalie Ruhlmann remains a defensive anchor for the Hawks in four set loss to Houghton with 11 digs...PS-Behrend OH Maura Benim tallied her first collegiate double-double with career highs in kills (11) and digs (12) in the win over William Patterson, as she averaged 2.42 digs and 2.08 kills, while recording seven aces and two blocks.
