PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille OH/DS Jenna Cleversley had a huge week for the Lady Mavs and led them to a 2-0 finish in the AMCC to secure the AMCC #1 seed and the right to host the AMCC Championship. Cleversley started out the week by leading the Lady Mavs in kills (14) in a five-set come from behind road win over Pitt Bradford. She then followed that up with a team-high 16 kills in a four set win over Penn State Altoona in the winner take all season finale on Medaille's Senior Day. Cleversely totaled 36 kills (3.33 kills per set) on the week, 37 digs (3.56 digs per set) and had a .338 hitting percentage in the two pivotal AMCC matches.

 

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche OH Laura Nath led the Redhawks in their 3-1 playoff-clinching victory over Pitt-Bradford, finishing with 15 kills and eight digs in the win...PS-Altoona MH Tori Shingler posted 17 kills (2.43 kills per set), hit at a .342 clip, and finished with four total blocks (0.57 blocks per set) in a 1-1 week for the Lions...Franciscan OH Christina Lawrence led the Lady Barons to a 2-1 week  by posting two double-double efforts with 12 kills and 11 digs against Chatham and 11 kills and 22 digs against Penn State Behrend...Hilbert MH Amanda Binder posted a double-double this week versus Alfred where she posted 14 kills and 16 digs, she then followed that performance up with an eight kill effort versus Mount Aloysius...Mt. Aloysius MH Kristin Miles helped lead the Lady Mounties to their first playoff appearance in four years by posting a .341 hitting percentage with 3.00 kills per set and 1.0 service aces per set in a 2-0 week for the Mounties.
