Twelve Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Confernece (AMCC) women’s volleyball student-athletes were recognized for their success in the classroom on Tuesday afternoon, when the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization announced its Academic All-District women’s volleyball teams.

To be eligible for a spot on the Academic All-District team, student-athletes must meet certain academic and athletic requirements. Academically, student-athletes must be at least sophomores while holding cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher. Athletically, players must be starters or key reserves who have played in at least 90 percent of their team’s sets or have been a starter in at least two-thirds of their team’s matches. Nominators could submit up to six qualified student-athletes per team.
Twelve AMCC women’s volleyball student-athletes were named to the CSC’s NCAA Division III Academic All-District team:

-Carlow University senior setter Meghan Alexander; majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience/Neuropsychology
-Carlow University senior middle hitter Taylor Claypoole; majoring in Biology/Cardiovascular Perfusion
-Carlow University senior libero Angel Klein; majoring in Public Health and Healthcare Data Analytics
-Hilbert College sophomore outside hitter Jenna Revak; majoring in Forensic Science
-Penn State Altoona junior libero Anna Batrus; majoring in Business Management and Marketing
-Penn State Altoona senior outside/right side hitter Karlie Feathers; majoring in Elementary and Early Childhood Education
-Penn State Altoona junior middle blocker Taylor Myers; majoring in Nursing
-Penn State Altoona junior middle blocker Makenna Port; majoring in Education
-Mount Aloysius College sophomore libero Kadence Della Valle; majoring in Elementary Education
