PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona JR Sophia Girol continued her great season this past week, as she went a combined 6-0 in singles and doubles play. Girol went 3-0 in No. 2 doubles and 3-0 in No. 3 and No. 4 singles against AMCC opponents La Roche, Pitt-Bradford, and Pitt-Greensburg.

BEST OF THE REST: D'Youville SO Lauren Karoglan helped clinch a playoff berth for the Spartans this past week as the team won a pair of matches on their way to the AMCC playoffs, as she earned a point in her singles victory and another point in her doubles win against Medaille, and then added a point in the 6-3 win over Penn State-Behrend on Sunday morning with a singles win...Franciscan SR Grace Hammel came to play on Senior Day, not dropping a set in singles and winning 8-1 in doubles while clinching the #1 seed heading into the conference tournament...Pitt-Bradford SO Elanie Roberts put in a strong week down the stretch for the Panthers as she was a key cog in her team's playoff push, being part of a doubles pair that was able to come back against La Roche from a 2-4 deficit in the tiebreaker to pick up a 7-4 victory, and once again leading the way to another win with an 8-4 win against PS-Altoona...La Roche JR Alexandra Mroczkowkski went 2-0 at singles and 2-1 at doubles in AMCC action last week, as she has gone 4-0 since making the switch from third to fourth singles half way through the year...Mount Aloysius SO Payton Whysong was the only Mountie to win both singles matches in the week, as she won both sets handily against non-AMCC opponent, Lycoming, and then followed it up with a tough first set victory before sweeping the second set, 6-0 against Franciscan.
