PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greesburg SR Amber Sterrett has extended her match winning streak to 21 matches with four wins this weekend. She has not dropped a matchup since her first year playing for the Bobcats. Sterrett went 2-0 in both singles and doubles action over the weeked, winning her singles match 6-2, 6-3 against Franciscan and picking up the 6-0, 6-0 victory over Mount Aloysius. Sterrett won both doubles matches 8-0. 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona SO Mikhaela Merca had a dominant opening weekend of play for the Lions, helping her team go 2-0 in a pair of road matches. Against new AMCC opponent Carlow on Saturday, she won 6-0, 6-2 in No. 1 singles and 8-2 in No. 1 doubles. In Sunday's win at Waynesburg, she posted a 6-0, 6-3 decision in No. 1 singles and an 8-0 whitewash in No. 1 doubles...Mount Aloysius FR Caylie Conlon went 3-1 in the first weekend of her college tennis career, including two straight set wins at three singles and a 1-1 record at two doubles, as she helped Mount Aloysius to a team victory over Thiel college with two wins, capturing the sole Mountie victory against Pitt-Greensburg.
