RUHLMAN THREE-PEATS AS PLAYER OF THE YEAR AS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS RELEASED

Pitt-Greensburg JR Emily Ruhlman has earned her third straight AMCC Player of the Year honor after another flawless season for the Bobcats. Ruhlman went 5-0 in AMCC Singles Play and was in the No. 1 Singles spot for all matches. She was the only AMCC No. 1 singles player to go undefeated at that position this season. Ruhlman and doubles partner Eden Richey did not drop a matchup in AMCC doubles play. They were a huge part of a team that did not lose a singles or doubles match in conference play all season, being only the second AMCC team to do that.

Pitt-Greensburg freshman Eden Richey has been named the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Richey stepped right into the No. 2 position in singles and the No. 1 pairing in doubles. She did not drop a matchup and became a dominant pairing with reigning two time AMCC Player of the Year, Emily Ruhlman.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Pitt-Greensburg head coach Doug Smeltzer. Smeltzer led the Bobcats to a 9-0 overall record, and a 5-0 record in conference play, including back-to-back AMCC regular season and postseason conference championships.
