UPG'S RUHLMAN SWEEPS TOP AWARDS AS WTEN ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS ANNOUNCED

Pitt-Greensburg FR Emily Ruhlman has been named the AMCC Women's Tennis Newcomer and Player of the Year. Ruhlman did not lose a single match all season long for the Bobcats posting a 5-0 record at #1 singles and went undefeated (5-0) at #2 doubles. In singles, Ruhlman won all but one match in straight-sets. In doubles paired with Abigail Rosman, the Bobcat duo won all five matches, three of which they did not allow a point. The most points the duo allowed in a match was 2.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Pitt-Greensburg head coach Doug Smeltzer. Smeltzer led the Bobcats to a 5-0 record in conference play and the top seed in the AMCC championship tournament. Pitt-Greensburg advanced to the AMCC title match for just the second time in program history.
