FRANCISCAN THREE-PEATS AS WOMEN'S TENNIS CHAMPIONS

 Franciscan University extended their winning streak versus conference opponents to 30 straight matches en route to their third straight AMCC title.

 The top seeded Barons posted a 5-1 win over #3 Mount Aloysius College on Sunday to earn the 2018 AMCC women's tennis championship.

Franciscan got victories from #1 doubles (Maria Binette/Madelyn Conrad), #3 doubles (Grace Hammel/Anna Victoria Haddad Garcia), #1 singles (Conrad), #4 singles (Julia Razook) and #5 singles (Hammel).  The Mounties got their point from #2 doubles (Payton Whysong/Leah Stoehr).  Boxscore

With the win, Franciscan will represent the AMCC at the NCAA Division III tournament in May.
