SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona SO Hannah Kimmick had an exceptional week for the Lady Lions, totaling six individual first place finishes in two dual meets. On Tuesday at Wells, she won first place in the 200 Yard Freestyle by clocking in at 2:20.42, and she later took first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:28.63. Kimmick followed that up by recording a season-high four individual first places on Friday night at Gallaudet. She won back-to-back women's events to start her evening, taking first in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 12:31.15 and winning the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:21.71. Later, she finished first in the 100 Yard Freestyle by clocking in at 1:07.58 and picked up her fourth victory of the night in the 200 Yard IM, in which she finished with a time of 2:45.84.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State FR Jessie LaRue was a triple individual event winner vs. Franciscan, winning the 100 back (1:05.87), the 200 back (2:21.70), and the 200 IM (2:28.16), and was also part of the winning 200 medley relay team. Against Bradford, she won the 100 fly (1:05.57) and was part of the winning 400 free relay team...Franciscan FR Emily Reuwer picked up two individual wins and two relay wins against Alfred state as she won the 200-yard butterfly (2:26.72), and the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.03) and helped the Lady Barons' 200-yard medley relay to a win (2:01.01).
