SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Cabrini SR Candace Brown competed in six events last week and scored five wins and a second place finish. In Wednesday's tri-meet against Bryn Mawr and Elizabethtown, the senior won the 50-yard freestyle (26.41) and 100-yard freestyle (1:04.54) and posted a second place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. On Friday, Brown won the 50-yard freestyle (25.89) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.67) and was on the winning 200-yard medley relay to lead Cabrini to a win over PSU-Altoona.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona SO Emily Booz had two individual first place finishes for Penn State Altoona in her team's loss at AMCC opponent Cabrini University on Friday evening, winning the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:09.68, and later triumphing in the 100 Yard Backstroke when she clocked in at 1:06.98...Franciscan SR Elizabeth McNulty helped clinch first place in 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:25.79, took first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.87, and came in a close second for the 200-yard IM by a tenth of a second with a time of 2:22.20...PS-Behrend SR Maryn Horn took third in the 50 free (24.93), eighth in the 100 back (1:04.43), and ninth in the 100 free (54.95) individually at the Fredonia Blue Devil Invite, and also was a member of the fourth place 800 free relay, sixth place 400 free relay and eighth place 200 medley relay teams...Pitt-Bradford JR Jillian Wright competed in a pair of finals events in the weekend's meet at Fredonia, including a 12th-place finish in the 200-breaststroke with a time of 2:44.54 and a 12th-place finish in the 400-IM with a time of 5:22.97.
