AMCC RELEASES WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Alfred State College junior Madison Snayczuk has been named the AMCC Women's Swimmer of the Year. Snayczuk earned the gold in multiple individual events at the Allegheny-Empire Swimming and Diving Championships, while also combining with her teammates to set several championship records in the relays. Individually, Snayczuk recorded first place finishes in the 50 free (24.78), the 200 free (1:57.95) and the 100 free (53.70). Along with her teammates, Snayczuk was also part of the 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay, and the 400 medley relay teams, which all broke championship meet records earlier this month. 

Penn State Behrend freshman Lauren Stephens has earned AMCC Diver of the Year honors after leading all AMCC divers on both the 1m and 3m boards at the Allegheny-Empire Swimming and Diving Championships. Stephens recorded a score of 333.20 on the 1m dive before earning a 328.60 on the 3m.

Penn State Behrend freshman Camryn Watters has been tabbed as the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Watters earned first place finishes in the 100 back (57.70) and the 200 back (2:06.63), breaking the AMCC Championship records in both events. She also picked up a second place finish is the 50 free, touching the wall in 24.81.

Behrend head coach Jennifer Wallace earns Women's Coach of the Year honors for the seventh time in her career. Wallace led the Lions to their 13th AMCC Swimming and Diving Championship.
