SARAH HULL NAMED FRANCISCAN SWIMMING AND DIVING HEAD COACH

The Franciscan University department of athletics has announced Sarah Hull as the next head coach for the women's swimming and diving program. Hull currently is the Assistant Director of Student Success at Franciscan and will continue to serve in the capacity while beginning her coaching duties at the beginning of the 2019-20 academic year.

Hull has been with Franciscan University since 2017, first as an admission counselor and now in her role with Student Success. Hull is responsible for retention of our students, the Center for Student Success, and students' academic, social, and spiritual needs.

Prior to her joining Franciscan, Hull was a swim instructor with Scripps Ranch Swim and Racquet Club. There she taught and coached a wide range of age groups how to swim, both in a group and individual settings.

Hull received her bachelor of arts in political science from Franciscan in the spring of 2017 and is expecting to receive her masters of science in education administration in the spring of 2020.

During her time at Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, CA, Hull was a member of the water polo and swim teams. She is also a water safety instructor and lifeguard trainer.

Hull will official begin her coaching duties in September, but can be reached by email (shull@franciscan.edu) or phone (740-284-5371).
