The Alfred State College and Penn State Altoona men's and women's swimming and diving teams, along with the Penn State Behrend women's team have been named Division III Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), on Tuesday.

Patterson was named AMCC Swimmer of the Year for the second straight season. He won three individual events and four relays at championships. Patterson hit two NCAA B cut times, while setting 15 records.
Stevens was named the AMCC Diver of the Year for the second consecutive year. She won the 3m competition with 345.10 on Wednesday and then won the 1m with 351.75.
Wyckoff was named AMCC Swimmer of the Year for being a three-time individual winner and four-time relay winner this past weekend at the AMCC Championships. She set the Meet, AMCC and Team record in 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.66. Wyckoff also set a pool record in the 400 Medley Relay, and a Meet and AMCC record in the 400 Free Relay.
With three days of competition in the books, Penn St. Behrend holds a 52 point lead over Alfred State College at the AMCC women's swimming and diving championship.
After day one of the AMCC Swimming and Diving Championships, the Penn State Behrend men and the Alfred State College women hold down the top spots in the standings.
The AMCC women's swimming and diving teams will take to the starting blocks this week for the 2019 AMCC championship meet. Hosted by Penn State Behrend at the Junker Center, the diving events will lead off Wednesday evening, with the swimming events to follow Thursday, February 14 through Saturday, February 16.
Tohill won the 1-meter dive with a score of 139.07. She also won the 3-meter dive with a score of 126.66 in her first 3-meter dive event of the season.
Farabaugh took three first place finishes and one second place this past weekend. Farabaugh led the Lady Barons to a win in the 400 meter medley relay with a time of 5:08.42, won the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 10:42.52, and also won the 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 39.44. She took second in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 5:02.72.
Three AMCC swimming and diving teams earned All-Academic honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their performace in the classroom this past fall.
Stevens swept a pair of diving events by winning the 1m with 304.50 points and the 3m with 282.65 points at the Pioneer Invitational. At the Ithaca Diving Invitational, she was 9th in both the 1m (307.00) and the 3m (277.60) competitions. She also won the 200 breast in 2:54.51 at the Pioneer Invitational.
Lewis picked up two individual first place finishes, along with a first place relay finish, while also setting a pool record over the weekend. Lewis won the 1650 free in 20:09.57 and the 500 free in 5:44.39 at the Pioneer Invitational. Her time in the 1650 free is a new pool record. She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay team that won in 2:04.79.
Kimmick had an exceptional week for the Lady Lions, totaling six individual first place finishes in two dual meets. On Tuesday at Wells, she won first place in the 200 Yard Freestyle by clocking in at 2:20.42, and she later took first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:28.63. Kimmick followed that up by recording a season-high four individual first places on Friday night at Gallaudet. She won back-to-back women's events to start her evening, taking first in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 12:31.15 and winning the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:21.71. Later, she finished first in the 100 Yard Freestyle by clocking in at 1:07.58 and picked up her fourth victory of the night in the 200 Yard IM, in which she finished with a time of 2:45.84.
As the temperatures in January continue to drop throughout the landscape of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be joining forces over the next two weeks to help keep the less fortunate warm this winter.
Lewis led the Pioneers to a first place finish at the Erie CC Invitational with three individual first place finishes and was also part of a winning relay team. Lewis won the 1650 free in 20:49.96, the 100 free in 1:07.18, and the 400 free in 5:04.87. She was also part of the winning 400 free relay team.
Farabaugh set two school records on Saturday in a double dual meet win over Bethany and loss to Cabrini. Individually, the freshman set the record in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:43.27 as she took second. She then swam the opening leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay that took first and set the school record with a time of 1:47.57. Farabaugh also won the 500-yard free with a time of 5:41.31.
Bey won the 50-yard free with a time of 28.80, edging out the second-place finisher by .13. Bey also won the 100-yard free with a time of 1:07.62 and took second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:20.95.
