THREE AMCC SWIMMING & DIVING TEAMS PICK UP SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICA RECOGNITION

Cabrini College men's and women's swimming and diving teams, along with the Penn State Behrend women were recognized as a Scholar All-American teams by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performances during the 2016 spring semester.

The CSCAA has designated 658 swimming and diving teams, representing 388 colleges and universities as Scholar All-America teams.  The recognition comes as a result of each team's classroom performance in the past semester.   It is only the second time in the program's 30+ year history of the program that more than 600 teams.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the spring semester.

Cabrini head coach Cindy Ikeler helped guide the men's team to a 3.11 GPA and and the women to a 3.39 GPA.

Behrend head coach Jen Wallace led her team to an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) championship and now this honor to cap off their season. The team posted a final GPA of 3.14 to earn this recognition.
