Makenna Magee, D'Youville College, Women's Soccer - Offensive

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville M Makenna Magee continued to be a force in conference play for the Spartans, adding three goals to her season total. Magee scored a pair of goals in the team's 8-0 win over Hilbert on Wednesday evening as she took just two shots in the game - both resulting in goals. Then on Saturday against Mount Aloysius, Magee scored the lone goal in the 1-1 2OT draw against the Mounties. Magee has already scored a career high seven goals on the season, which ties her for third in the conference. Magee has been very efficient this season, as she has taken just 17 shots this season, 14 of which have been on goal and seven of which have gone in - meaning she scores on 50% of her shots on goal.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg F Ashley Lucas scored the game-winning goal to lead the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team to victories at Penn State Altoona and against Medaille, as she notched her 16th of the season less than two minutes into the second half against the Lions and scored in the eighth minute to put the Bobcats up 1-0 over the Mavericks., while also tallying an assist in UPG's victory over Medaille...Pitt-Bradford M Kiley Tuttle put in a strong offensive effort in a 1-1 week for the Panthers, as she scored two goals and added three assists in two AMCC matches, including two goals and two assists in the Panthers' 5-1 win over Alfred State...La Roche F Ashley Mineard went off last Saturday (10/12) against Hilbert on the road putting up two goals and two assists (6 points) in route to a 6-0 victory...Franciscan M Sarah Cocozza had two goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Lady Barons, as she moved up to sixth all time in career points and goals in Franciscan's history...PS-Behrend M Payton Porter scored her first goal of the season, along with registering her first season assist against PS-Altoona, as her goal was a bicycle kick over her head into the goal.
