OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend F Brenna McGuire started in two games for the Lions this week tallying three goals, including one game-winner. She scored both of her team's goals against D'Youville on Tuesday in a 2-1 win in double OT. McGuire scored a goal with seven minutes remaining in the game to force overtime and again to seal the win in the second overtime. McGuire also scored a goal against Franciscan in a 2-1 win.
BEST OF THE REST: La Roche F Piper Claypool elevated La Roche to their first conference win of the season when she scored the lone goal of the contest at home in an overtime thriller against Mt. Aloysius, as she controlled the ball off a rebound at the top of the goal box in the OT period and shot it off the crossbar where it bounced into the back of the net, she followed that up by assisting the game-winning goal against Alfred State on Saturday...Pitt-Greensburg D Tiffany Michalek totaled two goals and added an assist for five points to help propel Pitt-Greensburg to wins over Juniata (2-0) and D'Youville (2-0)...PS-Altoona M Kierra Irwin continued her strong season in a 1-0-1 week against a pair of AMCC opponents last week, as she recorded two goals and two assists for six points, while attempting 12 shots and putting three on goal against Franciscan and Medaille...Mt. Aloysius F Johnna Adams scored the go-ahead goal in the Mounties' 3-0 win against AMCC opponent Hilbert on Saturday...Medaille F Kristen Kline continued her strong senior campaign with finding the back of the net two more times this past week, as she had the Mavericks' lone goal on Saturday, but came through in the clutch for them on Tuesday when the Mavs needed a goal, down by one with under a minute to play and Kline scored the equalizer, forcing overtime.
