DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona GK Nicole Schwartz surrendered just one goal in two starts for the Lions, helping her team go 1-0-1 in AMCC play. In Tuesday's 0-0 tie at La Roche, she made six stops between the pipes. In Saturday's 3-1 win at Alfred State, the freshman recorded three saves to notch her second victory of the season. On the week, Schwartz was 1-0-1 with nine saves and a .900 save percentage.

 

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche D Kiki Nemcek had a solid week as she helped La Roche to a 1-0-1 mark on the week, leading a Redhawk defense that didn't allow a goal for all 180 minutes played over the two games, while holding the opposition to just eight total shots and five shots on goal combined in the two matches, while also adding a goal and an assist on the offensive end...Hilbert D Courtney Geier led the Hawks to two tough victories, as she was focused and determined all week and played multiple positions along the back line...Pitt-Greensburg M/D Nylah Pannebaker played the full 90 in both matches for the Bobcats this weekend in which the backline conceded just one goal, she has been the anchor of the backline that has given up just one goal over two AMCC matches...Alfred State GK Kate Sprool went 1-1 on the week, tallying her first shutout of the season against Pitt Bradford.
