DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Bradford GK Emily Bethel had a perfect week in goal for Pitt-Bradford with a pair of clean sheets in crucial AMCC matches, shutting out Medaille and Pitt-Greensburg. Bethel made 13 total saves -- six against Medaille and seven against Pitt-Greensburg. Bethel's stellar play kept the Panthers' playoff hopes alive as Pitt-Bradford needed to win both games and the offense scored just one goal in each game.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille GK Melyssa Olmstead allowed just one goal in two games, including her second career shut out in a 1-0 over La Roche, as she averaged 16 saves, and now ranks 14th in the nation in total saves...PS-Behrend M Catherine Eichenlaub led a defense that posted a pair of shut outs in AMCC play this week, while also scoring a goal in the win over Hilbert on Wednesday, and was instrumental on holding the Mounties to four shots on goal and Hilbert just two shots on goal...Mount Aloysius D Summer Schell scored on a free kick goal in a 2-1 victory over Franciscan on Wednesday to clinch the Mounties a top-2 seed and conference playoff bye, then turned in a tremendous defensive performance in a 1-0 loss to defending champion PSU Behrend on Saturday...PS-Altoona GK Riley Barrett had two more solid starts in goal for the Lady Lions in a 2-0 week, as she was 2-0 with one shutout, making 11 saves and recording a .917 save percentage and a 0.50 goals against average...Franciscan GK Sarah Luebking led the Lady Barons to a 0-1-1 week in the AMCC, as she averaged 4.0 saves per game and had a .800 save percentage, while posting a 0.90 GAA and her fifth shutout of the season...La Roche GK Jessica Welka made eight saves and allowed just two goals over 180 minutes.
