DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville D Magan Magee has been inserted to the defense throughout the past several weeks and has been a major piece of the team's outstanding defense. Beginning with Pitt.-Bradford on Tuesday, Magee was part of a defense that recorded a shutout in their fifth straight game and locked down a home playoff game. In that home playoff game on Saturday against La Roche, Magee played direct roles in each of the team's two goals. The first she took the corner that went in off a La Roche defender for a 1-0 lead. She then scored a header goal of her own for the game winner in the 2-1 victory. Magee is currently third on the team in goals (4) and points (10) despite playing a majority of the season at center back.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius GK Leanne Cardoso-Bastos had her best game of the season with a 14-save performance in a 1-0 victory over La Roche as the Mounties clinched the #2 seed in the conference standings...Franciscan D Annie McGraw handed out two assists in the 4-3 win, she was a solid defender who stepped in to interrupt a lot of the Greensburg builds..La Roche D Marissa Johnson scored her third goal of the season in the Redhawks' AMCC Quarterfinal game at D'Youville.
