AMCC ANNOUNCES WOMEN'S SOCCER 25TH ANNIVERSARY TEAM

AMCC ANNOUNCES WOMEN'S SOCCER 25TH ANNIVERSARY TEAM

Throughout the 2021-22 academic year, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the AMCC office will be releasing a 25th anniversary all-AMCC team for each of its 16 conference-sponsored sports.

Multiple women's soccer players earned two-time Player of the Year honors over the past 25 years. This includes Pitt-Bradford's Melissa Smith (2013-14) and Frostburg State University's Karen Kotofski (2003-40) on the offensive side, while Penn State Behrend's Rachel Weyand was a two-time Defensive Player of the Year (2016-17).

Penn State Behrend women's soccer players have earned Player of the Year accolades moreso than any other team in the league, bringing in nine on the offensive side and four on the defensive.
