The #1 Penn State Behrend and #2 Mount Aloysius College women's soccer teams both picked up semifinal victories to advance to the AMCC championship game on Saturday afternoon. #1 Penn State Behrend d. #5 Penn State Altoona, 3-0
Penn State Behrend forward Payton Porter opened up the scoring and netted her first collegiate game-winner in the 13th minute of the game. She dribbled through the defense and tucked it in the goal a few feet from the net. Team and AMCC-leading scorer Brenna McGuire scored a pair of insurance goals in the second half. McGuire buried a shot off a deflected save from an Emily Indof strike in the 70th minute. McGuire struck again six minutes later for a 3-0 lead. Altoona's Riley Barrett made 17 saves in the 90 minutes to hold Behrend to just three goals on 28 total shots.

#2 Mount Aloysius d. #3 D'Youville College, 1-0
Offensively, each team started slowly until the first shot was recorded in the 11th minute, coming off the foot of a Mountie player. Each offense would begin to generate their opportunities with the Mounties tallying three shots over the next 12 minutes. In the 24th minute, a foul took place in the D'Youville box that led to a penalty kick for Mount Aloysius. Senior Cheyenne Kuncher converted the penalty kick opportunity to take the 1-0 lead midway through the first half. Throughout the rest of the half there were no real opportunities from either team as Mount Aloysius led 1-0 after 45 minutes.

#1 Penn State Behrend and #2 Mount Aloysius will clash for the AMCC women's soccer championship on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. on the Penn State Behrend campus.
