WOMEN'S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM RELEASED; OBERLANDER, WEYAND EARN PLAYER OF THE YEAR HONORS

Penn St. Behrend senior forward Jordan Oberlander has been tabbed as the AMCC Offensive Player of the Year. The team captain led the conference with 17 goals and three assists for 37 points, for a 4.11 points per game average. Oberlander recorded five of the nine game-winning goals in conference play for the Lions. She scored 1/3 of the team's goals in league play and was No. 1 in DIII statistics in goals with 28 at the end of the regular season. Oberlander finished the regular season with 28 goals and five assists for 61 points. She set the program records for most goals and points in a season and was named AMCC/ECAC Player of the Week twice. 

Behrend senior defender Rachel Weyand has been named the Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row. Weyand helped the Lions defense only give up three goals in nine conference games for a 0.33 goals-against average. She also aided in six shutouts in AMCC action and eight overall. The senior started in all nine games in AMCC play and 16 out of 18 overall. 

D'Youville College freshman forward Makenna Magee is the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Magee became D'Youville's go-to option on offense this season. As a freshman, Magee finished eleventh in the AMCC with 16 points, tied for tenth with four assists, and tied for twelfth with six goals. Magee scored a pair of goals in her first career game, immediately making an impact for the Spartans. The rookie finished the regular season leading the team in points, tied for the team lead in goals, and second in assists. 

Behrend head coach Patrick O'Driscoll picks up Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time in his career. O'Driscoll guided his team to an unblemished 9-0 record and the top seed in the conference tournament, before eventually leading the Lions to their seventh straight conference title.
