La Roche College and Mount Aloysius College enter Tuesday afternoon's game with intentical 4-3-1 conference records. The two teams are tied for fourth place and are battling for their final seedings as we approach the end of the regular season.
La Roche enters the contest on a three-game losing skid as they look to get back into the win column as the postseason is just on the horizon. Junior forward Vanessa Ceravolo continues to be the Redhawks' go-to person on offense, as she is second in the AMCC with 15 goals and freshman forward Allesandra Perri remains tied for second with seven assists.
The Mount Aloysius women's soccer team enters Tuesday's contest again La Roche with an overall record of 10-6-1 and a 4-3-1 conference mark. The Mounties have set the school record for wins in a season and have clinched their first ever berth in the AMCC playoffs. Mount Aloysius has allowed the second fewest goals in conference play as the Mounties have held their eight conference opponents to ten total goals. Senior goalkeeper Zara Apakoh is second in the AMCC with a 1.00 goals against average, and the backline led by freshmen center backs Summer Schell and Karen Boone has recorded seven shutouts on the season. Offensively, sophomore midfielder Jordan Gebhart paces the Mounties with 12 goals, and sophomore forward Cheyenne Kuncher has notched nine goals and four game-winners.
