BEHREND'S BILKA AND MEDAILLE'S KAPUSCINSKI NAMED TO GREAT LAKES ALL-REGION TEAM

The AMCC placed two women's soccer player on the 2014 NSCAA Division III Women's Great Lakes All-Region Team. Penn St. Behrend sophomore forward Alex Bilka was named to the Second Team, while Medaille junior midfielder Candis Kapuscinski was named to the Third Team.

Bilka is earning her first All-Region honors on the Second Team. The forward was an AMCC First Team selection after scoring 15 goals and dishing out eight assists. Bilka's 38 points ranks fourth for most points in a single season in program history. She started every game and registered a point in 15 of the 23 games. In her first two seasons, Bilka has tallied 28 goals and 12 assists for 68 points.

Kapuscinski led the Lady Mavs to a 6-3 AMCC record and was also the teams leading goal scorer, with seven goals coming from the midfield position. Kapuscinski is the third player in program history to be named All-Region and the first in the past seven years.
