AMCC ANNOUNCES WOMEN'S LACROSSE ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Wells College freshman midfielder Logan Lomonaco has been named the AMCC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year. Lomonaco had a standout season for the Express and contributed heavily to Wells' 2024 success. Lomonaco recorded 51 goals and 25 assists for 76 points (overall). In conference play, she connected on 26 goals and 11 assists for 37 points. She also recorded 50 ground balls, 43 draw controls, and 26 caused turnovers (overall). She finished the season ranked first in the conferece in points, goals, and ground balls, while finishing third in assists and draw controls.

Mount Aloysius College senior defender Courtney Vought has been tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year. Vought finished the regular season 10th in caused turnovers, ninth in draw controls, and 14th in ground balls. 

Newcomer of the Year honors goes to Wells freshman Hannah Lamont. Lamont had a standout rookie season for the Express, recording 40 goals and 26 assists for 66 points on the season. In conference play, she had 19 goals and 14 assists for 33 points. She also recorded 63 ground balls, 142 draw controls, and 25 caused turnovers. She finished the regular season ranked third in NCAA Division III in draw controls. 

Wells head coach Vic Goeller and La Roche University head coach Lisa Evans have been named Co-Coaches of the Year. Goeller led the Express to a 6-0 conference record and the AMCC regular season championship. Evans led the Redhawks to a 2-4 regular season record.
