ALVERNIA, SAINT VINCENT 2-0 AFTER DAY ONE OF AMCC ROUND ROBIN

Alvernia University and Saint Vincent College each went 2-0 on day one of the second AMCC Round Robin on Friday afternoon, to sit tied for first place after the first of three days of competition. 

Alvernia first picked up an 843-717 victory over La Roche University, before defeating Pitt-Greensburg 927-717. Emily Huntley led the Golden Wolves with a 198 average after rolling a 194 and 202, respectively. 

Saint Vincent started the day out with a 859-746 win over Penn State Behrend, then earned a 951-749 victory over Mount Aloysius College. Leading the way for the Bearcats was Jackie Koehler's 201 average. Koehler recorded a 196 against Behrend and a 206 against the Mounties. 

Topping the AMCC on the day was Penn State Altoona's Kennedie Lauver with a 206 average. Lauver rolled a 204 against Penn State Behrend and a 208 against New Jersey City University.
