MEDAILLE CLAIMS TIEBREAKER TO WIN AMCC ROUND ROBIN

The women bowlers of the AMCC took the lanes for day three of the AMCC Round Robin at Hillview Lanes in Greesburg, PA. There were teams from near and far, but in the end, the Medaille University Mavericks took home the first place title by virtue of a tiebreaker. Both the Mavericks and Saint Vincent College Bearcats finished with 9-1 records after ten matches. However, Medaille edged Saint Vincent head-to-head, 901-887, to take home the champion title from the weekend.

Both New Jersey City University and Penn State Behrend finished the weekend 7-3 while Pitt-Bradford rounded out the weekend as the final team with a winning record at 6-4.

Two Medaille bowlers finished the weekend on the top of the individual standings, as the Mavericks' Sarah Radt finished as the top bowler with a 197.80 average and a high game of 233. Medaille's Emily Brock finished second with a 185.4 average and a high game of 221.

Pitt-Bradford's Brookelyn Garvey finished third with a 185.2 average, while New Jersey City's Rebecca Hoff was fourth with 184.10.

Saint Vincent College claimed the next three spots with Olivia Emmonds (182.33), Jackie Koehler (181.89), and Abby Justice (181.50).

These 11 teams will get together again in two weeks, this time in Buffalo, to take part in what was supposed to be the first AMCCC Round Robin that was postponed in November due to Western New York getting pummeled with snow.
