PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona G Sydney Snyder had a strong week for the Lady Lions to help her team go 2-0 in AMCC games. In Wednesday night's win over Mount Aloysius, she scored a game-high 16 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. During Saturday afternoon's defeat of D'Youville, Snyder scored 12 points while also totaling four assists, two steals, two blocks, and one rebound. On the week, she averaged 14.0 points per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game, 2.0 steals per game, and 1.0 block per game.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert G Emily Gawlak turned up the pressure in Hilbert's 58-50 AMCC win over Pitt-Greensburg, as she led the Hawks with 18 points, four assists and two blocked shots in 36 minutes, connecting on 7-of-12 from the field and hitting 3-of-4 from beyond the arc...La Roche F Jenna Cole, scored a game and season-high 19 points at Medaille to elevate La Roche to 3-0 in conference play and the number one spot in the AMCC standings, as she shot an efficient 6 of-13 (46%) from the floor and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line...Pitt-Greensburg G Nadege Durand totaled 13 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal in Pitt-Greensburg's matchup this past Saturday afternoon at Hilbert College...PS-Behrend G Kourtney Beamesderfer led the way with 13 points in a 62-35 win over Mt. Aloysius on Saturday, as she went 5-for-9 from the field and 3-for-5 from three...Medaille G Surenaty Davis-Patterson scored 11 points in the game versus La Roche, as she also added nine rebounds and two assists, while also going perfect from the stripe 3-for3)...Franciscan F Jenna Hicks scored 14 points in Pitt-Bradford's first win of the season, a 63-47 victory over Franciscan, as she scored her 14 points on 5-9 shooting and made all four free throws she attempted while also grabbing six rebounds and adding a steal.
