PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona G/F Alexis Cannistraci continued her excellent play last week in a pair of AMCC wins for the Lady Lions. In Thursday night's home victory over Franciscan, she scored 15 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks. In Saturday's road win at D'Youville, Cannistraci scored the game-winning layup with six seconds remaining on the clock. She also put up career-highs with 26 points and 16 rebounds to record her seventh double-double of the season, and she also finished the game with three blocks, two assists, and two steals. On the week, she averaged 20.5 points per game, 11.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 blocks per game, 2.0 assists per game, and 1.0 steal per game.
BEST OF THE REST: D'Youville G Danielle Hore scored 13 points with eight rebounds and nine assists in a near triple-double against Buffalo State, and followed that up on Saturday against PS-Altoona as she scored 18 points to go with seven boards, six assists, and six steals in a two-point loss to the Lions...La Roche F Jenna Cole scored her 1000th career point in a 2-0 week for the Redhawks, as she averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and three assists for the Redhawks...Pitt-Bradford F Jennifer Isenberg nearly averaged a double-double for the week with 15.5 points and 9.5 boards, including 18 points and 10 rebounds against Alfred State, while also blocking five total shots on the week...PS-Behrend G Caitlin Carnuche shot 57.9 percent from the floor and averaged 14.5 points in a 2-0 week for the Lions, as she scored a season-best 23 points and dished out four assists in the win over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday...Franciscan F Angela Starre led the Lady Barons with 14.0 ppg this week, as she posted a double-double against Penn State Altoona with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while also finishing the week with six assists and six steals.
