PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hilbert G Emily Gawlak averaged 15.5 points over a two game span for the Hawks, shooting 40% from 3-point range. The 5'6" guard also averaged 13 rebounds a game, while pulling down a game high 17 rebounds Saturday against Pitt-Greensburg. Gawlak also came up with five steals and added six assists in the two games. The sophomore has helped lead the Hawks to their best season in program history with 18 wins overall and 15 in conference play, while clinching one of the top two spots in league standings. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius F Jessa Wright had another big week to help Mount Aloysius clinch one of the top two seeds in the AMCC tournament, as she finished with 17 points, six boards and three assists in their win over Altoona, and then poured in 26 points in a close loss to Medaille...Medaille F Dani Reinwald averaged 21 points and 15.5 rebounds per game while shooting 55.6 percent from the floor, including scoring 24 points on eight of 11 shooting from the floor and going 8-10 from the free throw line in a big win over second place Mount Aloysius...Pitt-Bradford G Ali Rinfrette averaged 28.5 points per game on 45.0 percent shooting as she led the Panthers to a pivotal win over Medaille with 34 points and then followed that up by dropping 23 against Penn State-Behrend Saturday...Pitt-Greensburg G/F Kelsey Oddis recorded a double-double in both of Pitt-Greensburg's games this past week to bring her season total to 16, averaging 16.5 points and 12.5 rebounds over the two games after posting 12 points and 15 rebounds in Wednesday's victory over Franciscan and following that up with 21 points and 10 boards at Hilbert...PS-Altoona G Alexis Cannistraci averaged a double-double in a 1-1 week of AMCC play for the Lady Lions, scoring 11 points while leading all players in the game with 14 rebounds and five blocks against Altoona, and then adding 11 points and 11 rebounds in the team's first win against La Roche since 2009-10...PS-Behrend F Autumn Byes averaged 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds, while shooting 58.3 percent from the floor in a 2-0 week for the Lions, as she tallied a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds in the win over La Roche and then adding 17 points on Saturday at Pitt-Bradford...La Roche F Jenna Cole averaged a double-double at 17.5 points and 11 rebounds in two games...Franciscan G Raegan Stead led the Lady Barons to a 1-1 week, including their first win of the year, a 65-57 win over D'Youville, as she averaged 12.0 points per game and added 15 against DYC...D'Youville G Monica June has continued to be the driving force of the Spartan's offense this past week as she scored double-figures in both games with 12 points against Hilbert and 16 points against Franciscan.
