The first place La Roche University Redhawks (16-6, 16-2 AMCC) will take on the third place Bobcats from Pitt-Greensburg (16-8, 14-5 AMCC) in the AMCC Women's Basketball Game of the Week.

Despite falling to 16-2 in conference play at Hilbert last Saturday in a close battle, 70-63, La Roche still holds the number one spot in the league standings. The Redhawks can lock in the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament and the regular season conference title by winning out their last two games against current No. 3 seed Pitt Greensburg and Alfred Statw. La Roche then outscored the Bobcats 12-2 in extra time to secure the victory. Head Coach Kamela Gissendanner has won the regular season conference title in each of her six seasons at La Roche (2013-2017, 2019). Senior F Jenna Cole leads the Redhawks, and ranks seventh in the league, with 14.8 points per game, while also pulling in 6.5 rebounds per game.

The Bobcats enter the game of the week having won six straight games, including a 21-point victory over Alfred State on Saturday. Junior G/F Nadege Durand leads her team, while ranking fifth in the conference, with 15.0 points per game. Fellow junior G/F Shaquoia McCray brings in a team-best 9.9 rebounds per game, while Durand is right behind her with 9.6. Sophomore F Maddie Sitler is the only other Bobcat who averages double figures with 11.7 points per game.
