The Lady Lions from Penn State Altoona will travel to Hamburg, NY to take on the Hilbert College Hawks on Wednesday evening in the first AMCC women's basketball Game of the Week in 2020. Altoona and Hilbert are in a three-way tie with Penn State Behrend for second place in league standings.

Penn State Altoona enters the Game of the Week with a 7-3 overall record and is 5-1 in conference play. They have won five straight games, with their most recent victory being an 89-67 triumph over conference foe Medaille College. Junior G/F Alexis Cannistraci leads the team, and is second in the AMCC, in scoring with 16.5 points per game, while also ranking fifth in the conference with 8.9 rebounds per game. Cannistraci has connected on 12-of-31 three-point attemps, with her 38.7 three-point percentage ranking third in the league. Finnley Christine also contributes with 13.0 points per game, while Sydney Snyder adds 12.0 points per game.

Hilbert comes into Wednesday's game with an 8-3 overall record, and is also 5-1 against AMCC teams. The Hawks have rattled off six straight wins, including a 67-58 win over Alfred State College on December 18. Senior G Taylor Corts leads the conference with 18.3 points per game, while also bringing in 6.2 rebounds per game. Senior G Emily Gawlak ranks second on the team, and third in the AMCC, with 16.3 points per game. Gawlak also ranks sixth in the league with 25 steals on the season. Freshman F Macy Kisner ranks 10th in the league with 7.3 rebounds per game.
