BEHREND WOMEN FALL TO CABRINI IN ECAC QUARTERFINAL

The Penn State Behrend (17-11) women's basketball team fell to Cabrini University (20-8) 100-64 in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) quarterfinal game on Friday afternoon.

Behrend fell to Cabrini 100-64 in the ECAC quarterfinal round on Friday to finish the 2019-20 season. Sophomore guard Caitlin Carnuche came out hot, scoring 15 points in the first quarter and draining three treys. The Lions led 29-24 going into the second quarter but were held to just six points to finish the half. The Cavaliers took a lead in the beginning of the second half that Behrend was unable to overcome. The Lions shot a season-high 88.9 percent from the free throw line with all shots made by Carnuche. Carnuche led the team with 29 points and Kourtney Beamesderfer chipped in 10.

Behrend finished the season with a 17-11 overall record
