Mazyck shined in the conference postseason and helped lead La Roche to their 8th AMCC Championship. Against Pitt Greensburg in the semi-final, Mazyck scored a career-high 24 points while knocking down a career-high five three pointers, the most by any Redhawk in a game this season. Ayanna added seven rebounds, two assists and two steal. She shot 8 of 14 (57%) from the field and 5 of 9 (56%) from deep. The next day versus Hilbert in the title game, Mazyck posted 18 points, eight rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist while shooting 6 of 10 from the field and 2 of 3 from long range. In the AMCC playoffs, Mazyck averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 assists while shooting 58.3% (14-24) from the field and 7 of 12 from beyond the arc. Ayanna was named to the AMCC All-Conference Tournament Team.

Gawlak had another stellar week in AMCC play. Although the Hawks went 1-1 on the week, Gawlak produced incredible numbers. Averaging 35.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and shooting 72.7% from behind the arc. On Wednesday vs. Penn St. Behrend, Gawlak dropped a career high of 40 points in 40 minutes. On Saturday at Penn State Altoona, Gawlak dropped 31 points to go with 11 rebounds.

Gawlak led the Hawks to a pair of victories, one in the AMCC Game of the Week. She tossed in 22 points along with eight rebounds, four assists and four steals to become the Hawks all-time scoring leader against Pitt-Bradford on Feb 12. Gawlak closed the weekend with 20 points and five rebounds in Hilbert's victory over La Roche. For the week, she shot 41.9-percent from the floor, including an impressive 45.5-percent (5-for-11) beyond the arc and 91.7 percent (11-12) from the foul line. She was whistled for only two fouls in 74 minutes of action while sitting at the top of the league with 2.4 steals per game. She continues to lead the AMCC in scoring at 18.0 points per game.
Pitt-Greensburg junior G/F Nadege Durand became the 13th 1,000-point scorer in Pitt-Greensburg history on Saturday, as the Bobcat women's basketball team took down Alfred State College, 81-60, on Senior Day inside Chambers Hall.

Pettit had two monster double-doubles this week as the Pioneers went 1-1. She scored 12 and grabbed 23 rebounds in a loss to Penn State Behrend and then scored 22 points and grabbed 19 boards in a victory over Franciscan. For the week, Pettit averaged 17 points, 21 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game.
As we enter the month of February, basketball teams are starting to set their sights on the postseason and are trying to position themselves as best they can as they head into the playoffs.
Baierl led the Lady Barons to a 2-0 record this week, and both wins were fourth quarter comebacks thanks to strong performances from Baierl. First in the win on Wednesday, Baeirl scored 18 points while going 40% from deep. The Lady Barons entered the 4th quarter down by 12, as Baierl scored 11 points, in the 4th to help lead the team to victory. Bairel also drained the three-pointer that put the Lady Barons up for good in the final minutes. Baierl followed it up Saturday with 21 points and five rebounds in the one point victory. The Lady Barons entered the final quarter down eight points this time, but Baierl would scored 13 points in the quarter to put the team on her back and earn a sweep this week. Baierl once again hit the game-winner, this time in the paint with nine seconds remaining in the game.

Hore had an outstanding week for the Spartans, helping lead the women to a pair of conference victories. In the AMCC Game of the Week on Wednesday, Hore nearly recorded her second triple-double of the season in the team's 75-68 victory over Penn State-Behrend. She scored 15 points with 16 rebounds, eight assists, five steals, and a block in the win. She then followed up with her second consecutive double-double in the 62-58 win over Penn State-Altoona. Hore scored 19 points with 14 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. With the two wins, D'Youville moved into third place in the AMCC standings. She played 39 minutes in both games as she currently leads the team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and minutes per game amongst players that have played in at least 60% of the team's games.
Cole helped her team remain perfect in conference play earning a 3-0 record on the week to improve to 11-0 in AMCC action. In the Redhawks first game at Franciscan, Cole dropped 14 points and nine rebounds in a 57-47 victory. In the AMCC Game of the Week against #2 seed Hilbert College, Cole recorded a team-high 21 points and a career-high 16 rebounds while shooting a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. In the final game at Pitt-Bradford, Cole recorded her second straight double-double posting 15 points and 10 rebounds while adding three assists. On the week, Cole averaged 16.7 points per game, 11.7 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game, while knocking down 15-of-30 (50%) shots from the field, 5-of-9 (56%) from beyond and the arc and a near perfect 15-of-16 (94%) from the free throw line.
