PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius INF Brianna Benscoter hit .583 in a 4-0 week for the Mounties. With the Mounties needing a win to clinch the second seed in the conference tournament, Benscoter put in her best performance of the week. She went 3-for-3, scored two runs, drove in four and hit her second home run of the season. Both of her run-scoring hits were with two outs, with a two-run single in the first and a two-run homer to left in the fourth. She also put in an error-free performance at second base. 

  

BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan 2B Allyson Weiss led the Lady Barons with a .407 (11-for-27) batting average in eight games last week, as she had at least one hit in every game and scored six runs, including four home runs and the go-ahead two-run home run in the first game against Medaille...PS-Behrend INF Katie Gozzard appeared in four games for the Lions this week, as she hit two homeruns against Hilbert, tallied seven RBI, and scored three runs, while also passing the 150 career hits mark against Franciscan...D'Youville OF Ashley Carney tallied two four-hit performances this past week, finishing the week with a .636 batting average (14-for-22), recording five RBI and seven runs scored...Pitt-Bradord UTIL Madison East had a big week at the plate, delivering multiple big hits for the Panther offense, as she went 5-for-12 for a .417 batting average and drove in five runs...PS-Altoona OF Abby Showers had a big week with the bat, helping her team go 5-3 against AMCC opponents last week and posting four multi-hit games, as she hit .414 (12-for-29) with nine runs scored, four RBI, three doubles, one triple, one walk, and one stolen base...Medaille UTIL Samantha Klein was great for the Mavericks last week, hitting .419 with two extra base hits and seven RBI while also scoring two runs, she had five multi-hit games including a 3-for-4 effort in game two against Franciscan on Sunday that helped keep the Mavs' playoffs hopes alive...Hilbert OF Maia Delaney continued her outstanding season at the plate and in the field, as she hit over .400 this week and leads the team with over a .400 average...La Roche SS Alexa Medva hit .368 (7-for-19), including a home run and four RBI while scoring two runs of her own.
