PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville INF Jordan Hartman had a fantastic week for the Spartans, becoming a regular part of the team's lineup this past week. Beginning on Thursday, Hartman went 1-for-2 in a game one loss to Pitt.-Bradford. In game two, she went 2-for-4 with a RBI in the 8-1 victory over the Panthers. She then went 1-for-1 with three walks in the 3-2 win over Mount Aloysius in game one on Saturday, followed by an incredible 3-for-4 performance with four RBI in game two. In total, Hartman went 7-for-11 with five RBI and three walks. Despite playing in only 19 games and registering 27 at-bats, Hartman has registered 13 hits and is hitting .481 and is fifth on the team with 10 RBI. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius P/OF Emily Cochran proved to be a dual threat for the Mounties in a 3-1 week as she hit .571, including a dominating doubleheader against Pitt-Greensburg that saw her go 6-for-7 in two games while driving in four runs and scoring one, she also allowed just one earned run in 12 innings of work in the circle for a .58 era for the week...PS-Altoona 3B Abby Showers had a solid week with the bat for the Lady Lions, helping to lead her team to a 3-1 record, as she hit .357 (5-for-14) with three runs scored, two RBI, two stolen bases, one double, and one walk...Ptt-Greensburg INF Kayla Seidl led Pitt-Greensburg offensively last week, posting a team-best .583 batting average, where she smacked two doubles, scored two runs, and drove in two RBI, while recording an on-base-percentage of .615 and a .750 slugging percentage...Pitt-Bradford SS Gabby Carpenter had two hits in each game against D'Youville, going 4-for-7 in the doubleheader for a .571 batting average, as she scored a run, hit a double and drove in a run as well...PS-Behrend 1B Kristen Kargol went 4-for-8 at the plate this week, finishing with a .500 batting average, as she had two RBI, four hits, one run, and one homerun, while also adding a solo homerun in game two against Pitt-Greensburg...Medaille UTIL Corissa Wagner was clutch for the Mavericks last week, hitting .500 with two runs scored, three RBI and an .833 slugging percentage...La Roche 3B/1B Emily Samluk hit .429 with two doubles and two runs over two games...Hilbert C Victoria Grayson continued her hot bat, hitting .400 for the week, as she leads Hilbert with a .410 average on the season.
