PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius C/1B Lydia DeFazio had a dominant week as the Mounties won all four AMCC games they played. She hit an incredible .867, hitting six home runs and two doubles, driving in 13 runs and scoring eight more. DeFazio recorded hits in her first 13 at bats of the week, ending the week 13-for-15. Against Franciscan, she went 8-for-8 in the double header. In game two, she hit three home runs. In the first game of the weekend doubleheader against Medaille, she drove in all three runs, including two on the game-winning walk off home run. For the week, DeFazio hit .867 with an .889 on base percentage, and an incredible 2.200 slugging percentage.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend OF Carson Hauser finished the week with 10 hits and eight RBI including two home runs, including a three-run in the park homerun against Carnegie Mellon where the Lions won, 9-1, while her second home run of the week came against Pitt-Bradford during a game where she went 4-for-4 and finished with two RBI...D'Youville INF/OF Megan Meyer had another productive week for the Spartans at the dish as she went 2-for-3 with one run scored and two RBI in the 8-0 game one win over the Hawks, she then went 1-for-2 in game two to bring her hit total to three for the day...Pitt-Bradford INF Maddy Hillery erupted for a 7-for-12 performance (.583) in four games at the plate with three extra-base hits -- a pair of doubles and her first career home run, as she drove in three runs and scored four while working a .615 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage...PS-Altoona P/1B Sidney Lewis had a strong week at the plate and in the field for the Lady Lions against AMCC opponent Pitt-Greensburg and Penn State Behrend,  posting two multi-hit games, and finishing her week batting .600 (6-for-10) with three RBI, three walks, two runs scored, one double, and one stolen base, while also going perfect in the field...Pitt-Greensburg 1B Tayjah White posted a .429 batting average in the four games for the Bobcats this past week, as she went 3-for-7 with two runs, a home run, and drove in an RBI, while also drawing three walks and slugging .857 during the week and recording a .600 on-base-percentage...La Roche SS Alexis Medva hit .417 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple over four games last week...Medaille INF/C Hannah Lagrou played well last weekend in their AMCC opener, getting a hit and RBI in both games for the Mavs including a two-run bomb in game one and finishing the week going 6-for-14 with two extra-base hits, five RBI and scoring three runs...Hilbert OF Maia Delaney went 4-for-6 with one run scored while also playing solid defene in the outfield with zero errors on the week.
