RUNNERS PREPARE FOR AMCC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP

AMCC cross country teams will head to Buffalo, NY this weekend for the 2023 AMCC Men's Cross Country Championship.

The men's championship race kicks off on Saturday, October 28 at 11:00am at Delaware State Park in Buffalo, NY. 

Defending champion Penn State Behrend will be looking for their 15th conference title, while 2022 AMCC individual champion Kody Klein of Penn State Behrend will be out to defend his title.

Behrend FR Lucas Boyd has recorded the top 8k time in the AMCC this season, completing the SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational is 25:58.4. Klein has the next two times, including a 26:18.2 finish at the Mike Woods Invitational and a 26:28.4 at the Houghton Highlander Invitational. Boyd completed the Houghton Invitational in 26:34.8 for the fourth top time while Behrend's Aidan Domencic rounds out the top five with a 26:44.5 finish, also at the Mike Wood Invitational.

The women's race will follow the men's, as it is set to begin at 12:00 p.m.
