Pitt-Greensburg senior Kelsey Oddis, junior Daniel Spanner, and freshman Samuel Myers all earned top-15 finishes to lead the Pitt-Greensburg men's and women's cross country teams at the Westmoreland Country Community College Wolfpack Invitation Saturday morning.
Oddis placed fourth overall with a time of 22:47.3, while Spanner (19:15.5) placed 11th and Myers (20:31.7) also finished in the top-15 placing 14th.
As a team, the Pitt-Greensburg women finished in third place behind WCCC and Frostburg, while the Pitt-Greensburg men placed fourth behind Frostburg, PSU-Fayette, and WCCC.
Juniors Elsayed Abbass and Darius Eicher-Peebles, freshman Brandon Cross, and senior Glen Wolfarth also competed for the Bobcat men. Abbass crossed the finish line in 19th place and right behind the junior was Eicher-Peebles who placed 20th. Cross and Wolfarth also had solid races for Pitt-Greensburg finishing in 22nd and 25th respectively.
Freshman Sadie Shannon and junior Robin Stoner put together great races for Pitt-Greensburg placing 17th and 19th respectively, while freshman Julia Pritchard and junior Alyssa Panza also finished strong to help propel the Bobcats to a podium finish.
